Japan was shaken near Sendai, Sendai Shi, Honshu-miyagi-ken, by an earthquake of magnitude 7.3 , the United States Geological Survey reported. The quake hit at a moderately shallow depth of 33 km beneath the epicenter near Sendai, Sendai Shi, Honshu-miyagi-ken, Japan, late at night on Wednesday, March 16th, 2022, at 11:36 pm local time.
